Mark McLean

Mark has been brought in as cover for Gary O'Connor after excellent goalkeeping performances in training games and against Hearts in a friendly at Shielfield.

He started out as a youth at Celtic and in that time won a call up to the Scotland Under 18 sqaud. He moved onto Sligo Rovers in 1993 and then onto Clyde in 1995. Albion Rovers signed him in 1998 and he was a regular in the Rovers side for over two years.

This season he has shared the 'keepers jersey almost equally with Gary O'Connor.

Did You Know?
Mark conceded the most amount of goals in Scotland last season whilst playing for Albion Rovers. Despite this Paul Smith still moved to sign him.
